Designed to satisfy the advanced photographer who expects outstanding quality, unparalleled speed and versatile image control, the EOS 50D comes with Canon's new 15.1-Megapixel CMOS sensor and DIGIC 4 Digital Image Processor. They, together give an expanded ISO range up to ISO 12800, improved noise reduction, a high continuous shooting speed of 6.3 frames per second, plus a host of enhanced functions, including the Live View Mode with Live Face Detection mode AF, and Peripheral Illumination Correction. The new Creative Auto Mode (CA) offers more creative flexibility and ease of use in making image-setting adjustments. The EOS 50D is built to capture everything – from atmospheric nocturnal landscapes to hyper-kinetic sports actions.
