Choose a Shipping Method

You can choose the shipping method you want during the Checkout process.

There are three main shipping methods to choose from:

Expedited Shipping

This shipping method is the fastest available. Delivery times are between 4 - 8 days to all major destinations. Shipping costs vary with item, but all large orders that use expedited shipping will receive a specific discount depending on the destination and product.

Standard Shipping

Standard shipping takes a bit longer than expedited shipping but costs less. Delivery times are between 8 - 10 days to all major destinations. Shipping costs vary with item, but all large orders that use standard shipping will receive a specific discount depending on the destination and product.

Air Mail

For some items, there is an option to ship your order by Air Mail. If your order qualifies for shipping by Air Mail it will automatically appear as an option when you checkout. Delivery times are between 15 - 20 days for all major destinations. Although the delivery time is much longer, shipping costs are much lower if this option is chosen. Order tracking and shipping insurance are not available with shipping by Air Mail. Please take this into consideration when choosing this option.

FREE Shipping

Free shipping is available on a variety of products or as mentioned by individual quotes sent out by our staffs. Some items have FREE Express Shipping.

Delivery Timeframe/Customs Clearance

Most of the products displays the delivery timeframe. This is the expected delivery time as per our normal delivery schedule and we do normally deliver within 10 days. The delivery time also depends on the time for customs clearance and TheMultiShop.com LLC is not responsible for any such delays caused by the local authority. Custom clearance delays may occur for various reasons, for example valuation checks, personal or business verifications etc.

Delivery to destinations outside Mauritius are normally within 20days, unless Express Shipping is requested prior to confirming your order.

Import Tax, VAT, Duties...

Your item will be shipped to you from our offices either from the United States, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, or Mauritius. The item may be subjected to custom tax/import fees etc. when it enters your country. By buying internationally, you are considered an importer. Therefore, it is your responsibility to pay all of these fees.

Clause 1: Please be specific on what you want us to mark your item as and we will consider its viability (For example: Gift). In any event, TheMultiShop.com will NOT pay any country tax (VAT) / brokerage charges or any fees related to customs in your country. Please check the import regulations in your country before making a purchase.

Please note that some of our products does have the mention that all Taxes, Duties are inclusive in the price displayed. Upon ordering of such products,  you will be required to send us a letter/email to state that the order is for your personal usage. This is to facilitate the customs clearance. Clause 1 above, does not apply for such products.

Clause 2: Under any circumstances, we will not mark down your packages to minimize any Taxes, Duties, VAT as this is ILLEGAL.

Clause 3: If you reject the parcel on delivery because of VAT / import charges, we will charge you the shipping costs both ways plus 5% handling fee (Based on item price), before any refund are effected.

Note: These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item uo - do not confuse them for additional shippping charges.
